In spite of the proven value of trees for reducing stormwater flows and pollutants, there remains a widespread lack of understanding, acceptance, and credibility of their use for managing stormwater. In this webinar, Chris Kaeff and Craig Frye will share lessons that Sanitation District No. 1 (SD1) in Northern Kentucky learned as it implemented a reforestation project to manage stormwater. Larry Wiseman will then introduce treesandstormwater.org, a new interactive guide that includes hundreds of carefully-selected case studies, methods, benefit calculators, and guidance on how adding trees can boost overall system performance, often at lower costs.
