Fundraising, master planning, and design are linked necessities for any public garden committed to mission-based stewardship and evolution. Designers and development professionals bring unique perspectives, processes, and expertise to the table; these are powerful tools for success when leveraged. Three development professionals and the designer that collaborated with them will share how they dynamically integrate development goals, master-planning tasks, and design to support institutional advancement. This presentation will focus on outlining pragmatic techniques and approaches beneficial to organizations of diverse sizes, ages, resources, and contexts.
