With 392 acres, the Boyce Thompson Arboretum provides stunning exhibits in incomparable settings at the foot of Picket Post Mountain. Nestled along Queen Creek, it is a haven for plant lovers, photographers, birders, and nature enthusiasts of all ages. Over 3,900 taxa from the deserts of Australia, North and South America, southern Africa, and other arid-land regions blend seamlessly into this natural setting. Approximately 5 miles of well-maintained, easy-walking loop trails are available for your visit, with many shaded areas. Bring lunch for a midday break under large trees in our picnic area.
