The Clean Energy Solutions Center, in partnership with CanmetENERGY (Government of Canada), hosted this webinar on the Benchmark Analysis Module of RETScreen Expert, a Clean Energy Management Software system for energy efficiency, renewable energy and cogeneration project feasibility analysis as well as ongoing energy performance analysis.
Energy benchmarking can help designers, facility operators, managers, and senior decision makers quickly gauge a facility’s energy performance. Benchmarking allows you to estimate the expected energy consumption or production (versus reference facilities) and get an idea of the scope for improvements. RETScreen's Benchmark Analysis Module allows you to quickly establish reference climate conditions at a facility site for any location on earth and compare the energy performance of various types of reference (benchmark) facilities with the estimated (modeled) or measured (actual) annual energy consumption of a facility.
This webinar introduces RETScreen Expert's Benchmark Analysis Module, including demonstrations of how to establish benchmarks and how to use RETScreen's extensive benchmark database. Participants also learn how to use the various tools available in the software to establish, validate and update their benchmark.
