Sunday, July 14, 2019 (All day) to Wednesday, July 17, 2019 (All day)
Omni Interlocken Hotel Broomfield , CO

About the Workshop: Since 1975, the Natural Hazards Center has hosted the Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop for 500 federal, state, and local emergency officials; representatives of nonprofit and humanitarian organizations; hazards researchers; disaster consultants; and others dedicated to alleviating the impacts of disasters.

The Theme: The theme of the 2019 Workshop will be Convergence. Join us as we explore how we come together to study hazards and disasters, apply the knowledge that's generated, help one another, build community capacity, implement meaningful policy, and envision a future that leads to reduced disaster risk and improved social wellbeing.

What's Next: We'll be calling for your input on Workshop sessions in early 2019. Please make sure you're signed up to receive our Workshop emails so you don't miss out on the opportunity to share your work. You can visit the signup page to sign up or update your preferences anytime.
