The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is Wyoming's only botanic garden. It exists in one of the most challenging gardening climates in the lower 48 states (high winds, regular hail, high altitude, little winter snow cover, and unpredictable frosts). One of Cheyenne's jewels, the garden began in 1977 and is located in Lions Park. The Garden's mission is to inspire, beautify, and enrich the greater High Plains community through gardening, volunteerism, education, and stewardship.

Wyoming OSHA Consultation and the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens proudly collaborated during the renovation and expansion of the Greenhouse Conservancy to work together to ensure the safety and health of those working on this project.

Wyoming OSHA Consultation offers free and confidential safety and occupational health advice to small and medium-sized businesses in and across the state, with priority given to high-hazard worksites. On-Site Consultation services are separate from enforcement and do not result in penalties or citations to the company. Wyoming OSHA Consultants work with employers to identify workplace hazards, provide advice on compliance with OSHA standards, and assists in establishing injury and illness prevention programs. The consultant will discuss the employer's specific needs with them and set up a visit date based on the priority assigned to their request, mutual work schedules, and time needed for the consultant to adequately prepare to serve the facility. Because consultation is a voluntary activity, employers must request it (see OSHA's Consultation Directory).

Wyoming OSHA is partially funded by the Federal Occupational Safety and Health AdministrationOn-site Consultation Program. Additional information about OSHA's On-Site Consultation Program and other small business resources is available at www.osha.gov or 1-800-321-OSHA (6742).
