The Kittleman Scholarship for Aspiring Public Garden Leaders

In partnership with The American Public Gardens Association, Kittleman & Associates is proud to announce a new scholarship opportunity for up-and-coming leaders in the field of public gardens. The Scholarship was created to emphasize leadership development in public gardens, identifying key people in our field to further their journey, and support the Association’s professional development goal of a “roadmap to leadership at all levels”. This scholarship offers an individual the opportunity to attend the 2017 Annual Conference from June 19-23, 2017 in Hamilton, Ontario. 

 

 

 

Details

The award covers all conference registration fees of approximately $1,200, in addition to a reimbursement of travel costs up to $1,500. The total value is an estimated $2,700 USD. Applications are due no later than April 4, 2017. The recipient will be notified no later than April 11, 2017. The final decision will be made by a selection committee.

Requirements & Application

To be considered, an individual must have at least seven (7) years of previous work experience as well as a current position within a public garden or related field. He or she should aspire to lead or direct a public garden in the future.
