Plant Collections Network is leading our public gardens community in developing standards of excellence for plant collections management. Our aim is to make these widely accessible and promote best practices throughout public gardens.
Draft standards will be discussed at the Network’s annual Members Forum and circulated among Nationally Accredited Plant Collections™ holders for review. We plan to post a revised draft to solicit feedback from Association members. Anticipated products include a summary of standards as ready reference, a benchmarking checklist for self-assessments, and online resources organized under each standard for additional guidance. Please take the opportunity to share your input over the coming months so these products will reflect and serve our public gardens community.
