The Chicago Botanic Garden always has been committed to the concept of welcoming all visitors–regardless of their abilities–to fully participate in and enjoy its grounds and range of programs. This past summer, 22 years after launching its horticultural therapy program and first enabling garden, the Chicago Botanic opened its Buehler Enabling Garden–and in so doing, reaffirmed its committment to horticultural therapy and safe, comfortable, and healthy gardening for everyone.
