Cobb Studio and Ribbit the Exhibit

Ribbit the Exhibit brings excitement and energy to public gardens and botanical centers, helping them to attract new visitors, reengage existing members, and increase public awareness of the garden’s mission. The collection’s first showings at Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville, NC, and Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC, delighted thousands of visitors, resulting in attendance increases of 60-80%.

The exhibit’s rave reviews resulted in significant statewide press, including feature stories on WRAL’s Tarheel Traveler and in Our State magazine. Due to popular demand, Airlie Gardens extended its Ribbit the Exhibit showing by more than a month.

For nearly 20 years, sculptor J.A. Cobb has transformed copper and steel into enchanting sculptures that bring gardens to life with their whimsy, personality and artistry. Ribbit the Exhibit, a remarkable traveling collection of 18 larger-than-life frog sculptures by Cobb, is now available for display in public gardens throughout the U.S.
