Supervises: Seasonal and part-time program staff, volunteers, and interns

The student field trips coordinator oversees all programs for visiting school groups, using the Chicago Botanic Garden as an educational resource to support plant and environmental science curriculum especially, and other subject as they relate to plants. Responsibilities include developing programs and training facilitators to deliver them, occasionally teaching, and also coordinating schedules and staff so that the programs run smoothly at the Garden. The job requires high energy, the ability to think on one’s feet, and commitment to turning field trips into wonderful experiences for our young visitors.
