Job Description
Responsible for implementing and coordinating an institution-wide comprehensive donor relations and stewardship system that appropriately and consistently promotes interaction with and recognition of donors and prospects at all levels.
Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to plan and implement all stewardship and donor recognition programs, projects and events
-
Assists with gift acknowledgements for all upper level gifts for Executive Director and Director of Development signature
-
Plans and coordinates all cultivation events
-
Creates all Sponsorship follow up packages
-
Coordinates the distribution of the Annual Honor Roll of Donors, holiday cards and gift plants
-
Ensure appropriate donor and sponsor recognition through publications, signage, and publicity
-
Administrative support for fundraising events including Splendor Under Glass and Cheers to Art including coordination with vendors, database updates, and signs
-
Assists Development Manager as needed with the coordination of fundraising auctions

Coordinates mailing and tracking of invitations for special Stewardship and cultivation events

Tracks and distributes sponsor and corporate donors

Tracks and collects donor recognition samples

Updates and maintains proper contacts and notes mailings and communications in database (includes event attendees and invites- special mailings for donor recognition, etc.)

Coordinates donor meetings for senior staff

Coordinates volunteer support for cultivation and fundraising events
Required:

Outstanding interpersonal skills, creativity, persistence and talent in sales

Professional appearance and conduct

Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with a variety of staff, board members and community volunteers

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database navigation

Comprehensive understanding of non-profit cultures and board dynamics
Desirable:
-
Experience with BlackBaud; Raiser’s Edge database software
-
Microsoft Office
